He did an interview in the late 90s-I think-with that rag Sister to Sister and he said he was basically a freak-he would try anything. The place looked full and Tevin turned it out. The audience was really into him singing every word of his songs. He is on tour in the UK now. He has left the play Hairspray and is staging a comeback. His voice is still as soulful as ever and he can still sing rings around any of these so called male singers today. Tevin is one of my favorite all time male singers and I get offended when people talk about how he look now. He has had it hard since his childhood stardom. But came back with the successful play Hairspray on Broadway in new york a few years ago. I don't think he looks that bad. He is older and more mature looking now. But that voice is still the same. Which is all that matters. Give him a break and stop talking negative about him. He is just one hit away from a comeback. People do grow up he is 32 now  will ALWAYS think of  like a "ACT OF GOD"! Tevin looks older because he IS older. Duh! He also looks that way because he probably partied too hard in his younger days. Plus, this dude has always been skinny, so get over it. Tevin still sounds good. He was smart enough to take care of his voice, unlike Whitney Houston. Her voice has been damaged beyond repair. I also have to give him props for making it on Broadway. The entertainment industry isn't focused on talent right now, so it's great that he found an alternative. I swear, some people just like to complain for no reason. | |

A world stadium tour, must be April's Fool Day early. Tevina could not fill 250 seat nigh clubs all over the USA, yet alone stadiums if 'he' were the headliner.
Unfortunately the American public is less forgiving over same sex sex scandals. Tevina has always liked males and always will. I know several people that him and escapades, unfortunately he got caught up in an undercover sting in the valley in LA at a known pick-up spot for homosexual activity. He can do plays, and have limited roles on Nineties type music revue shows and do Narada MIchael Walden's annual Xmas benefit show in the Bay area each year with Shanice Wilson and that whole bunch - but a major comeback - not happening.
