Yeah i love this girl myself. It's a shame that with a voice she has she is still slept on by the industry because I thought that the new album Epiphany was gonna really break her in since it did go to #1 on the Billboard 200 charts back last May or June. And I was highly pissed when it didn't get Grammy recognition this year, not that it is that important. Her debut album I Am was a good one too, but Epiphany was just mesmerizing.

Isn't it frustrating when you don't see people getting their just due.
I saw her at the Maxwell concert and lil chunky thighs tore that shit up.
She is too big and so not the stereotype.....I'm quite sure if she sung more about begging a brotha back or popped a tit out here and there...she'd be the next best thing since sliced bread!

i liked her early on when she did those songs with rappers like nas and shit and still like her voice and think she's talented, but all her singles sound like the same tired "guy who ain't shit did me wrong" shit everyone else is on . she comes off like mary j jr. or something to me and one mary is enough
