I really don't think I've ever heard that song. "Get Off" was their staple song in disco. It didn't get to the oversaturation point compared to some songs that I hear literally everyday. "Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!

"Woh oh oh oh oh...Hot Number!" I prefer "Hot Number" as well -- definitely a jam! My brother got one of those K-Tel compilations back in 1979. Thanks to that LP, I was introduced to Foxy -- I did not even become familiar with "Get Off" until years after I heard "Hot Number". | |

One of the best disco/dance songs of the 70's. I remember back in 78',when this came out, me and friends used to do the latest dances during that time to this song. Great stuff!!! | |

the k-tel comp was called high energy... it had blondie, amii stewart, peaches and herb, styx, foreigner, the pointer sisters, gq (another one of my faves), and that foxy track. that was my introduction to it--searched down the twelve inch the day after!
