I knew ZZ was big, but I didn't know he sold that many copies of this album in 83! Many of these songs are still considered blues classics that are on this album.

1. Someone Else Is Steppin' In
2. What Am I Gonna Tell Her
3. Open House at My House
4. Who You Been Giving It To
5. That Fire Is Hot
6. Wang Dang Doodle
7. Outside Thang
8. You're Gonna Be a Woman
9. Help Me, I'm in Need
10. Get You Some Business

That's back when folks were throwin' down. Just look how many fast jams are on that list and the slow jams are great too. Now, compare that list to an R&B list of today. You would think that today's list was the classical chart instead of the R&B chart with all that not only slow, but dull bullshit all over it. And people say "you're just getting older". That's a bunch of bullshit. It's most of the younger generation that is ready to sit in some rocking chairs. Hell, we were shakin' ass and still would like to.

Hell yeah! I met her once and got her autograph on my greatest hits CD and on my "Too Tough" 45. When I pulled out the 45, she said...."Let's see what you got here, is this (she named some song I've never heard of)" Then she hollered and said..."Oh Lord, you've got the JAM, you've got Too Tough!" I said..."Hell yeah, I like to get off!". Then, I had realized that I had cussed in front of her. lol

I've got....

Down Home
The Rhythm And The Blues
Blues Business (A ZZ Hill greatest hits CD)
Greatest Hits (the vinyl album)

Then I've got downloads of the songs "Bump and Grind", "It Ain't No Use", and "Separate Ways".

My favorite song of his is "Shade Tree Mechanic".

One of the first albums I remember listening to growing up was besides Thriller was Angela Bofill's Too Tough. There's not one bad cut on that album except for the last track about rainbows, too chessy 80s and Sesame Street for me now.

That album was playing in heavy rotation in my house. It wasn't just Too Tough, I remember the slow cuts like You Can Come Take Me Home, Tonight I Give In and Song For A Rainy Day. Accept Me sound too much like Tonight I Give In but it's still a good song.

Is This A Dream is one of my favorite jams on that album

I met her about 10 years ago and she was so stoned that I didn't even bother her for an autograph. I shook her hand it was ICE COLD. I then later learned that she was "on the stuff" and I then understood.
