Girl. Yes. RUN! lol

While he's at, keep the significant others out of it too.

Meh. Sounds like another PR stunt to me. shrug

Ughsher seriously damaged his career when he crossed over and became a mainstream pop star. Everyone knows that pop stars have an expiration date. You have to be very talented/get away from the pop star status in order to avoid this. Christina Aguilera is a good example. She knew that she was too talented for that BS, so she jumped ship before she got pushed.
Usher's voice isn't that bad. He can carry a tune, but he's mediocre at best. He also doesn't have a magnetic personality that draws you in. He's not renown for his songwriting or playing an instrument. In other words, he's not like Maxwell, Babyface, Brian McKnight, etc.

I'm sick of this 'cougar' term already... Dudes just can't win. You get criticized fo going after younger women but if you like em older and more mature you're "looking for a new mamma" or some shit. Personally for a busy entertainer like Usher I can see the appeal of an older more emotionally stable woman you can rely on. Artsy\creative types tend to need 'rocks' rather than someone they have to 'look after' themselves. Plus I mean the woman looks fine for 40 so who really cares... More power to him. cool

There's a big difference between wanting your mother's approval and putting her above everyone else and simply being appreciative of what's she's done for you and valuing her wisdom and judgement.
It seems to me only natural to me a man who has a good relationship with his mum will have a good relationship with his partner.

Girl they are the worst. My ex was a mama's boy, it was pure hell. The day I got rid of him was the day I got rid of a hunk of stress off my back. nod
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I never got his mother being all anti-older woman and shit. She liked Chili and Chili was 8 years older than Ursh when they hooked up. So um....maybe these recent gals aint pretty or rich enuf to gain mommy's blessing? confuse

You would think but some mommas hold their sons back from being good to anyone else but them. Usher need to get off the tit already.

From some of the publicly observable stuff, it seems that the trouble rises up when Usher's significant other gets involved with his Business business. You might say that he courts a "Yoko Ono" kinda thing.

(No offense intended toward Yoko, I never felt like it was right to blame her for the implosion of a group composed of 4 adult men. Plus Yoko is a bad ass...)

Usher's latest album sounds like it's going to be the shit and I mean that in bad meaning bad and not bad meaning good type of way.

Dude had one of the hottest chicks out there and threw that away for a RuPaul Drag Race reject (and I say that with utmost respect for Tameka, let's get real, she is not a Chilli)

Dude's career was fire and he basically threw it away.... disbelief
