Usually a person gets tired of hearing them. As I understand, it depends on what stations you are hearing throughout the years.

There are certain songs that I can't go a year without hearing, though I try.

I think it is because the immediate chart success was good so programmers think people would still like to hear them.

I am convinced I NEVER liked them which makes it worse.



This one has a 1 bar phrase repeated through every verse and chorus and instrumental break - worst voiced through an awful 80s synth flute.

There's a special hatred in my heart for songs that never left the radio simply because they fill Canadian content quotas.
