This is my second favorite Spinners album!! Favorite songs are:

"I'm Glad You Walked Into My Life"
"Love Don't Love Nobody"
"Ain't No Price On Happiness"

A superb album.Producer Thom Bell was at the top of his game.

Love me some Spinners! With one listen to this album (and other Spinners album), there's much wonder why they haven't gotten the recognition that they deserve. Great find!

Indeed nod I pulled this CD out a few weeks ago and found myself repeating certain tracks over and over.'Pick Of The Litter' remains my favorite Spinners album but 'Mighty Love' is a close second.

Does anyone know...why is the 'New And Improved' CD so hard to find? hmmm Why is it out of print when all of their other 70s albums are so easy to find?

Good ?

You'd think it would be available for Sadie along, or even as a 2fer.

I've only seen it on CD once, and I copped it immediately lol
It was on a five CD set, released by Rhino. The CDs are in separate mini LP jackets, as opposed to the usual jewel case(s).
The albums included are as follows,

"The Spinners"
"Mighty Love"
"New And Improved"
"Live!"
"Pick Of The Litter"

The weird thing is, I checked Rhino's website, and they don't sell the set there, and they only offer "New And Improved" for sale in digital format,
http://www.rhino.com/shop...d-improved

hmmm Last year,I collected all of the Spinners 70s albums on CD but I noticed that 'New And Improved' is out of print. That's so frustrating! Why would that particular album be out of print when all of the other albums are available? Makes no sense.I'll keep looking.

You'd think it would be available for "Sadie" along, or even as a 2fer.

Yeah, and it's not as if this was a flop album. It contains two of their biggest hits: "Then Came You" (which reached Number One) and "Sadie".There's no reason why it should be out of print.

What a beautiful label! I miss the attention to detail that they used to put into album art. This label is a masterpiece.
