The 1st album was pretty funky 4 a band of Mormons out of Minneapolis not associated with Prince. lol At least their producers realized that Prince wasn't even doin "Prince" by 86'-87', so they went even more middle of the road. I got so burned out on that song that I have no desire to ever hear it again. A local lite rock station near me still plays that song in heavy rotation some twenty four years after it's release. Amazing....

Really? I never hear it. I understand though because I feel that way about a lot of songs that I swear never left the radio since they were added 20 years ago.

It's not like they had heavily layered tracks, and there were 8 of them. I could see them actually playing live?? I saw them in concert in 1986 and I'm sure they were playing live. There was no backing (studio) band at all

Christ, when did she record that monstrosity? It's some sort of Japanese bonus track from her first album. She pretty much sucked the life out that song!

But as I also stated, someone recently told me they were playing to DAT tapes, which kinda made sense because Kathy was the only one on keys and there are more than 2 keyboard parts on songs like Crush on You and Curiosity, so I wonder if that is true or did they do it all live? They also did the I would die 4 u/Baby I'm A Star encore like the PR tour (again stated above! LOL)

Little known fact: This song is written by Rupert Holmes, more famous for the song "Escape (The Piña Colada Song)".
