Of course, it looks like I'll be getting gray haired before I ever see this Unfortunatley, Chaka has promised her fans a lot of things over the years that never came to pass. kinda like a certain inspiration for this site..... I've never been to Amoeba Records and I'm dying to go! YOU WHAT?!!!!! you need to go as soon as possible! I've been to the one in Berkeley but when I went to the one in SF on Haight, my knees literally buckled. My friend and I got inside and it took us 20 minutes to find each other "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. As part of their Original Album series, Warner Brothers will reissue 5 of Chaka's solo albums on a multi CD set. Included will be the long sought-after 1982 title "Chaka Khan", which, until now, was only available as a very expensive Japan import. I just found out that they're also releasing similiar sets for Natalie Cole and Dionne Warwick....five of their CDs packaged in a box set.

I went to the Berkeley location today. Was looking for MJ's Bad album on vinyl for my friend in Chicago but the M. Jackson section was damn near CLEANED OUT at Amoeba and Rasputin "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

You're just now finding this out AFTER I'VE MENTIONED IT A THOUSAND TIMES?!!!! The one in Berkeley is the ORIGINAL Amoeba store It's alot smaller than the SF one. Hell, the Rasputin locations in San Lorenzo, Berkeley, and Concord and the Amoeba in Berkeley combined are still smaller than the SF one The San Francisco location is like a mini Costco I'm thinking of going there in a couple of weeks because I promised my friend that I'd get Bad on vinyl for him and I need to start collecting vinyl again And Prince sections are ALWAYS packed I saw the 7 12' picture disc single for like $15 today and the Sign o' The Times picture disc for $20 once "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."
