Victory is Won...
I was right in front of his guitar a few years ago when he played at Hammerstein Ballroom, NYC. When he used the slide,I literally screamed! I startled him and he he looked down at me and laughed. I was so embarrassed! And Samba Pa Ti, of course! "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

They played "Soul Sacrifice" together on the "One Nite Alone" box set. Bella [Edited 2/4/10 17:09pm] [Edited 2/4/10 17:09pm]

PS. Thank you guys for turning me into his work "Samba Pa Ti" was due to be my pic BEFORE I even opened the thread, lol. "Europa (Earth's Cry Heaven's Smile)" would be a very close 2nd, if not tie.

I keep thinking about this question...
I named one I love, but then I read other people's choices and thought, "Yeah, that too!" I can't choose... "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

Carlos is a guitar virtuoso and he has so many great solos which makes it very hard to choose one.
You've all mentioned great ones. There are times when I listen to Carlos and I actually get emotional. You should all check out his Sacred Fire dvd. I know a lot of people don't care for all the collaborations he's done over the past 10 years, but I think it's been great as it's allowed so many people to become familiar with him and his amazing music. Carlos is definitely one of the best!!

Hard to choose just one solo because all are beautiful.
''I Love You Much Too Much'' is the best. [Edited 2/5/10 19:46pm]
