I liked the second song a bit better, but then again I would probably enjoy this stuff better if I understood the Czech language.
I remember winning a prize in some MTV Europe competition several years ago and I received a lot of CDs from East European bands... most of the stuff wasn't particularly memorable but I do remember one CD from the bunch because the band sounded kinda quirky and fun.
The band is from the Czech Republic and is called MIG 21... have you heard of it? Here's one song from the album I have:


But there's one Czech song that I really remember, an old folk song called "Jozin z bazin".. kind of a novelty song, but I recently found the Youtube video to it with English subtitles, so I finally understand what the lyrics are about...
The main reason I remember the song is the video with the bearded guy doing these HILARIOUS dance moves to the song... and also how he always disappears during the verses and then pops up in the chorus, dancing harder than ever.
Is this song a well known song in the Czech Republic? I'm wondering because I know the video was all over the Internet 2 years ago, a kind of cult Internet hit:

Yeah, of course, I know MIG21. They are quite popular over here and the song you posted is also very nice. See, there are very few czech songs that I actually like cause Czechs are usually into rock music that I don´t like that much, but this one is cool, yes. Can´t believe you own a cd by a czech band.

As for Jozin z Bazin, yeah, it´s been a huge hit over here. It´s silly. The guy in black and white jacket is called Ivan Mladek. He´s a popular comedian over here.
