Is this really how low music videos have stooped, where this is considered the best around?? I remember in the 90s when music videos used to have something called a budget... it would take more than a grey backdrop and two backing dancers to get people excited.

I think she knows how good her voice is and makes literally zero effort selecting good material because she think her vocals alone will carry her. Amazingly this seems to have worked so far... it goes to show what constant telly and radio rotation can do. It's brainwashing people into thinking this God-awful shit is "music."

The Single Ladies video shows that you don't need a huge budget to have a great video.

It's simple and dynamic. It has pizazz! It's show-business-y. It's one of those examples of how a gay asthetic has infiltrated the mainstream.

It's just a great video that had people talking. The last video I can think of that had an impact like this is probably "Nothing Compares To You".

"What It Feels Like For A Girl" could've gone there but "controversy" got the best of Madonna.

Lol, I hated it at first but it's grown on me. "Single Ladies" is one of the few Beyonce songs I actually like.
