I wore the vinyl album out on the whole album!!
Arguably the best of the Jamaica, Queens NYC albums ( Tom Browne Don Blackman, Marcus Miller, Bernard Wright, Jamaica Boys, etc,...)

I agree nod the man is truly a wizard, but I think all of those guys got their main schooling from Mr.Weldon Irvine.

Arguably? NOT. It's their best work. Even saw where Pharrell was givin this record props recently. Even against Nard's first album & all the Tom Browne output, this one still stands as a monolith.

Hearts Desire has been one of my all time favourite jams since I was a teen

nod Most definitely! He was the local Quincy Jones/ArtBlakey for all the Kats...

Don Blackman was 17 when he wrote, played and sang on Weldon's Sinbad album....
