I agree  the man is truly a wizard, but I think all of those guys got their main schooling from Mr.Weldon Irvine.

Even saw where Pharrell was givin this record props recently. Even against Nard's first album & all the Tom Browne output, this one still stands as a monolith. ... Most definitely! He was the local Quincy Jones/ArtBlakey for all the Kats...
