Victory is Won... music
I was right in front of his guitar a few years ago when he played at Hammerstein Ballroom, NYC. When he used the slide,I literally screamed! I startled him and he he looked down at me and laughed. I was so embarrassed! redface

And Samba Pa Ti, of course! nod

They played "Soul Sacrifice" together on the "One Nite Alone" box set.

"Samba Pa Ti" was due to be my pic BEFORE I even opened the thread, lol. "Europa (Earth's Cry Heaven's Smile)" would be a very close 2nd, if not tie.

I keep thinking about this question...
I named one I love, but then I read other people's choices and thought, "Yeah, that too!"

I can't choose... disbelief

There are too many! But lately, I'm diggin' the one at the end of this tune, Song For Devadip (written by Narada Michael Walden, who also plays on this track) from 3:35 onward...

Carlos is a guitar virtuoso and he has so many great solos which makes it very hard to choose one.

You've all mentioned great ones. There are times when I listen to Carlos and I actually get emotional. You should all check out his Sacred Fire dvd.

I know a lot of people don't care for all the collaborations he's done over the past 10 years, but I think it's been great as it's allowed so many people to become familiar with him and his amazing music. Carlos is definitely one of the best!!

My fav moment on "Sacred Fire" was when he plays "Europa" and in the middle of it Carlos' improvs Marvin Gaye's "I Want You"

Nearly any solo from the legendary 'Moonflower' double album.

I grew up listening 2 that album over and over.

One of the best live performance DVDs, IMO...

Hard to choose just one solo because all are beautiful.

''I Love You Much Too Much'' is the best. biggrin
