You guys were too hard on Taylor Swift!

I heard that Swift had monitor problems during the Grammys, that's why she sang out of key a few times. Shame on you orgers..lol If you have never sung with a band, monitors are the way you hear yourself or you sing bad.

She really should send Kayne West a check he has made a bigger star with his foolish antics.
[Disclaimer I am not a big Kayne fan at all]

There was an article on the front "page" of AOL the other day questioning whether or not she's overrated. They mentioned her singing off-key in that piece.

I never thought she could sing- not just the other night. hmph!

Your lies, they cut me.

Part of her mass appeal is the, um, off-key singing. Any critic who rewards her with a glowing concert review deserves a kick to the groin.

Nobody would be hard on her if she wasn't getting all this IMO, much undeserved praise. Apparently, she writes and arranges her own songs. Great. So she should be a songwriter. Why does she have to sing them as well? confused Her performance at the Grammys was just bad.

Hell most of the threads praising "artist" on here are bout singers that have no talent. So don't be hating on Swift.

"Yo 2freakyforchurch, I'mma let you finish but Lazycrockett had one of the best excuses for Taylor Swift on this thread OF ALL TIME!"

lol

Seriously, she can't sing and deserves to be interrupted.
BUT
I'm glad she is where she is. The country genre deserves to understand how the R&B genre has been feeling for years. Now both genres are overrun with pretty teenaged girls being used as pawns by big ass faceless corporations trying to sell shit to the public.

I had read about how terrible she was, but I just saw the video today as I missed the Grammys. She was actually good when she was singing by herself what was I'm guessing was her own song.
But I have to agree that she sounded bad when she was singing the Fleetwood Mac song with Stevie Nicks. Although personally I don't like her style of music, I think she can sing. I think the problem was that she didn't rehearse a song that she's not used to singing with a person she's not used to singing with, because when she sang on her own something she's more used to singing she sounded fine.

If someone handed her a comb, and a mirror. She would of sung just fine.

She better get down on bended knees and kiss Kanye's helmet, because had it not been for him, I probably would've never heard of this chick.

Seriously, she'll always be the girl whose career started by Kanye's award speech interruption lol
