the california medical board disagrees with you. they filed a motion today to revoke the good dr.'s license immediately. the judge denied the motion...for now. assuming mj knew the risks of propofol, don't you don't think that applies doubly to dr. murray? he was a cardiologist, and has been around propofol all of his professional medical life. yet, instead of properly monitoring of his patient and obtaining the proper medical equipment, he administered the drug, and then went off to make phone calls and talk to his baby mama while mj was under sedation. as mj was slipping away, he delayed calling the emts and he did not tell anyone that he had administered this drug in an attempt to cover up his actions. what exactly is 'right' about that? if you give your consent to a doctor for a procedure, any procedure, whatever the risk, that does not mean he gets to behave in a negligent manner and use as an excuse your 'consent' to absolve themselves of responsibility if they behave in a manner which increases your risk of danger, rather than mitigate it. hell, open heart surgery is a risky operation, but people give their consent to it everyday. they do it because they trust that the doctor is going to be doing his job. if the doctor fucks up due to their own avoidable negligence, you better believe he will be sued and possible have his license revoked. murray is going down. he puts his greed above his ethics, and if he did it with mj, there's nothing to say he wouldn't do it again. good riddance to him. The FULL coroner's report came out today someone on MJJC did a summary - what we have read before from the AP news is true.
- the weight is listed as 136 - he was not in his regular room - it says murray did cpr on the floor - the description of the room/scene what we have read at the tabloids are also seems to be true as well - there was a lot of needle / puncture wounds - he did no have a heartbeat when the paramedics arrived - and remained unresponsive despite of all efforts - overall he was healty. you read pages of examination of internal organs. all are okay or have some minor unrelated can be explained by age conditions. congestion of the chest is listed , the other ones are nonsignificant situations. - his vitiligo is well documented as well as the burn scar - propofol is the main cause - also the expert says that lorezepam should not be given at the same time as propofol as well - there are 61 autopsy photos, 17 photos taken at the hospital and 30 some photos showing the scene. the ones on his neck (the puncture wounds on the left side) are done by paramedics when they inserted the IV catheters etc. So they are explainable and he would not have them before the paramedics came and worked on him. It also lists puncture wounds at right shoulder (2), both arms (4 on the right , 3 on the left) and both ankles(1 each). I am not sure whether they are related to the emergency efforts or not. It was sad reading about MJ in this fashion (the autopsy report).
What will really get people riled up is that Dr. Death is being charged with manslaughter and it is a 4 year prison sentence! "Old man's gotta be the old man. Fish has got to be the fish."

I knew it after they didn't arrest him a few weeks following Mike's death. What is bothersome is that he in all likelihood may not even serve that full sentence and can probably profit selling some tell all to a media outlet. At the end of the day, a man lost his life. Yes MJ was not perfect, but as a healthcare professional, Dr. Murray had a man die in his care. "Old man's gotta be the old man. Fish has got to be the fish."

I'm sadly interested in looking through it, as long as there are no photographs. 61 autopsy pictures....Geez. I'm feeling serious anxiety over that. I have a bad feeling one is going to pop up in front of me somewhere. "You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup...Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend." - Bruce Lee

Very sad and depressing day. I just think this quack is being undercharged. 2nd degree murder is defined as "a killing caused by dangerous conduct and the offender's obvious lack of concern for human life." That seems like the correct and obvious charge to me. I'm no lawyer though, so what do I know?
I found the whole day draining. I think I don't have it in me to cover this case just to see this "doctor" get four years and end up serving two. Pretty sure I'm going to beg off. I turned down all TV shows today and tomorrow. I don't see the point in commenting on this thing because there's really nothing to say except to express dismay -- and what good is that? It's not like they're going to recharge the guy. It is what it is. The trial is going to be a freaking mess. I'm so not into it. But the MJ update is still coming out in August and I promise it'll be worthwhile. Your friend -- wishing he could be a pest and sleep on someone's couch tonight, J. nope it's the official one The coroner said it would be kept secret permanently. At first it says he has "all natural teeth" then later on it lists all the work he had done on them and that he had some removed. Nowhere does the report talk about the burn scars on his scalp. At one stage it says he has brown hair (?!) then it says black. It says he is "black" not "African American" It says he was identified via drivers license...what, no family member could identify him?! It says Murray found him, pulled him to the floor, started CPR and called 911. We all know from the phonecall he began CPR on the bed then called 911. It mentions his vitiligo but not his lupus?? Sometimes he's "Jackson, Michael", other times he is "Jackson, Michael Joseph". His middle name was "Joe". Michael couldn't dance if he had all those lung issues.
