I found my old tape of Ghosts the other day (which is almost ruined from being rewound so much. ), and I just realized Mos Def is in the film. I never noticed before, and didn't even know who he was back when it was released, lol. Has anyone ever read or heard any comments from him about MJ and/or the filming? Yeah he was in it, but I never heard him speak about being apart of the short-film.

The guy doing MJs part was doing too much with the vocal runs. it shows how much you can do with audio even if its recorded with a webcam in someone's bedroom....decent vocal editing...just the music is a lil weak...i was thinking to do a video response but then said naw...

The small pics to the right look great but the left hand side ones look like an asian man dressed as MJ. these are prototypes, Normally "Hot Toys" fix things before the final release, their Thriller zombie MJ is fantastic. Michael Jackson film tops UK DVD chart
Michael Jackson has scored another number one, as his concert-film This Is It tops the DVD chart. The movie was a huge success at the cinema, now fans are enjoying it in the comfort of their own home. It follows the singer as he prepared for his ill-fated London gigs. It shifted 1.2million copies in its first week in the US, and is flying off shelves in the UK. This Is It director and MJ's friend, Kenny Ortega, is glad of the reception: "I was just concerned that in the end it would serve the fans, that they would get from it what they needed to get from it" If Jackson had been alive he would have been just finishing up his mamouth O2 residency. The late King of Pop was due to begin the 50 dates in July last year, just before he died on June 25. http://itn.co.uk/d4bec1ec...98c34.html I'm buying it this week ! Da, Da, Da....Emancipation....Free..don't think I ain't..! London 21 Nights...Clap your hands...you know the rest..

It is so hard for me to judge a period when I liked Michael. It started in 1970 and I just never bored of him. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^

whatsgoingon said: MOL said: I'll repeat it; this time slowlier: the Jacksons did MANY things to MJ, when he was a solo act, that had a negative impact on his career. In fact, Joe and Jermaine were more than happy in trying to ruin it (no exxageration; read what they told Todd Gold). I might talk out of my ass, but you think with it. Quite a difference. [Edited 2/20/10 11:10am] And it's been also claimed that MJ tried to sabotage the solo careers of Jermaine and Janet, do you believe that too? Of course you don't because in your eyes MJ could never do no wrong. MJ fans are selective as the media they choose what they want to believe and discard what doesn't sound favourable to MJ. You are just as selective and bias as the haters. MJ had 24 years as a solo artist, it wasn't his brothers or even Joe that stopped him making no more than 3 and half albums in that period!! I don't think any of this is true.. All speculation and until you have lived in the Jackson household we can only surmise. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^

whatsgoingon said: MOL said: Angel, that "argument" bt Whatsgoingon was posted out of desperation. There is no evidence to back it up. When presented with facts, people like Whatsgoingon are going to counter-argument with baseless accusations with the "you're a blind fan" bonus. Notice how she/he constantly deviates the conversation and never answers my posts, prefering to accuse Michael of victimizing his poor family while ignoring some hard evidence. Michael was the one who convinced CBS director that he should help his brothers with the making and evetual release of the album "2300 Jackson Street". [Edited 2/21/10 9:17am] Your the one who is desperate. Why else would every single post you post be about MJ "evil" family? You obviously saw Mj as a child, who wasn't adult enough to make his own decisions. I do not absolve his family from all his problems, but the things that really brought MJ down during the latter part of his life had NOTHING to do with his family. The 2 child abuse allegations were what almost torn MJ apart, he almost ended up in prison, all because he didn't seem to understand about boundaries and logical decision making. You get your facts from books, the same kind of books that everyone has an opinion about. As far as I am concern Todd Gold book is no more honest than Randy Tarrollebelli Magic and Madness. You can take what you want to believe and leave the rest And why don't you take your Crazy-Arse views to a forum like King of POP, where everyone bar one would agree with your crazy ranting. [Edited 2/21/10 9:35am] I will be even slowlier. I hope this is not too complex for you: I didn't base myself on Todd Gold. I based myself on QUOTES FROM JOE AND JERMAINE...and court trancripts. Oh...my ranting is not that crazy. Actually, is it factual (ouch, here is where it hurts...).

And you still can't explain how MJ brothers stopped him from making 3 and half albums in 24 years, as a solo artist. The the truth is the things that almost completely destroyed MJ were allowing children to continue to sleep in his room, even after the first set of allegations. That's the truth and it didn't have anything to do with his family. Deal with it. [Edited 2/23/10 13:22pm]
