What im saying is that the albums have a similar forumal and classic songs. RnB today is MUCH DIFFERENT from the 90s. RnB today is watered down and less soulful. It looks its rhythm. If you buy a Neyo album You can't say anything about janet jackson. Neyo is shit, and most R&B today is. Janet had it right in the 90s. 2012: The Queen Returns

I would love to see Janet working with someone like Leon Sylvers!! Yes, I said it!! He would write and produce the hell out of some songs for Janet. (Or maybe just dry up together and ... But I would really like to see what they would do in the studio. Where have all of these other "hot", trendy, bullshit, ego driven, "colabos" gotten Ms. Jackson?)

Its NOT just janet who has a different style of RnB its EVERYONE. So why is beyonce, Neyo, and all these other people selling records, when their RNB isn't like the rnb of the 90s. Janet has some great cuts, her stuff actually sounds 80s and 90s FOR THE JANET HATERS! LISTEN TO THE SONGS SHE MADE FOR THE 20 y.o ALBUM and Dicipline .FOR all you saying she doesn't have RNB right. TAKE A LISTEN TO THIS!!! Cause you don't know what your talking about. Her MUSIC HAS NOT CHANGED!! lolol but you wont see this until she either dies or stop making music. and i listen to janet jackson just about everyday!!!!!

Janet is one of the ONLY artist left making decent music.
SEXHIBITION is like You/Go Deep Janet really puts a lot of effort in her songs! she writes and produces her music. I think its so cute> I know janet gives her all in the music. She doesn't just show up to the studio and have them tell her how to sing and what to do. She has her input.

Majority of this garbage on the radio is Crap. But you keep the radio all day and hear the same songs over and over again. So you end up liking them. NOT because they are all that. SO why give that music a chance but NOT janet!!! Listening to stuff one time you don't get a good feel. You dont really get to hear the lyrics and the music. The right way you are judging it hard. If you listen to it with out judgement and YOU claim your a janet fan then you will like her music. If you liked her Velvet Rope album you will like the new stuff. not sure who you're talking to or what you're talking about. i haven't listened to FM radio since 1996.

I want Janet to work with Kanye again. I like the work he did with her on the Damita Jo album.. I really like "I want U" that he wrote for her. It had a 50's feel to it.
When I met Kanye right after the song was released as a single. He told me a lot of work he did on the album was unnoticed and uncredited. Because he was a new producer at the time. He said he wrote a lot of songs on there but Jimmy & Terry did her vocal work so they just took the credit for mostly everything. He seemed really bothered by that. I told him I like that song he did for her..Kanye is a really kool dude to rap with. He is misunderstood a lot like Prince usually is... will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P.

Yea, I know what you're talking about but "My Baby" was not single material and nobody uses ballads unless it's a cheeseball that many people can relate to and can sing-a-long to a la "My Boo" by Usher and "We Belong Together" by Mariah. "My Baby" didn't have that. Tbh, it's shit. Possibly Kanye's worst production. Idk why all these producers give Janet their shittest productions. The-Dream gave Janet "Greatest X". Even JD gives her shit productions and he's not that good of a producer. I love "I Want you" too and I'm sure it would've done well if the SB didn't happen.
