MICHAEL JACKSON'S KILLER/DOCTOR BACK IN L.A. I get the feeling this gumshoe won't suffer any REAL consequences for killing MJ. BASTID!
Michael Jackson's Doctor, Conrad Murray, Expects To Surrender To Police'Dr. Murray is more than ready to surrender and answer to any charges,' lawyer says. LOS ANGELES – Michael Jackson's physician has arrived in Los Angeles in anticipation of a decision from the district attorney's office on whether to charge him for the singer's death, a spokeswoman said Tuesday. Dr. Conrad Murray, who practices in Houston, arrived in Los Angeles last weekend and one of his lawyers, Edward Chernoff, plans to join him, spokeswoman Miranda Sevcik said. "Dr. Murray is in Los Angeles for a dual purpose — on family business and to be available for law enforcement," Sevcik said. "We're trying to be as cooperative as we can." There is no official word on when an announcement about any charges might come. David Walgren, the deputy Los Angeles County district attorney handling the case, declined to comment Tuesday. The district attorney's office has for weeks been working closely with Los Angeles Police Department investigators to build a case against Murray. Two law enforcement officials have told the AP that Murray is likely to be charged with involuntary manslaughter in Jackson's June 25 death from an anesthetic overdose. The officials spoke only on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to speak publicly about the case. Jackson, 50, hired Murray to be his personal physician as he prepared for a strenuous series of comeback performances in London. He died in Los Angeles after Murray administered the powerful general anesthetic propofol and two other sedatives to get the chronic insomniac to sleep, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office, which ruled the death a homicide. Murray has denied any criminal wrongdoing. "We continue to maintain that Dr. Murray neither prescribed nor administered anything that should have killed Michael Jackson," Sevcik said http://news.yahoo.com/s/a...son_doctor

See...that's why I think nothing will happen to him. This should have been settled a long time ago, he should have had a trial and been found guilty by now but no...all this time the DA been "building a case" and Murray has been lounging. I'm sure many people thought the whole investigation was over. It's 100% suspect. Maybe MJ really was killed to generate money.

No punishment he may face will stop the sadness. He could be killed with a lethal injection himself, and I still wouldn't be happy about it. "You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup...Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend." - Bruce Lee

Couldn't have it said it better..but personally I'd rather he be in jail, and be stuck being someone's bitch. With all the ass poundings he deserves, he would be begging for some propofol. MJ Fan 1992-Forever

While I ceratinly beleive that he was implicit in Michael Jackson's death, he shouldn't be tried for anything other than manslaughter. He may have been the person who gave Michael the lethal injection, but it was Michael who hired this doctor in the first place after asking for the same drugs and treatment from other docotrs and being turned down. This doctor's major crime was being an enabler to a drug addict.

he died because of being overmedicated by Murray. That counts as suicide? Not to mention it was ruled as a homicide [Edited 2/2/10 17:37pm] "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

I don't believe for a minute that he was suicidal. Stressed out, definitely but not suicidal. 50 shows, so much dancing, singing, and stunts, please. And I bet that contract was binding.
I just saw This Is It last Saturday, I almost had to catch myself sometimes watching it, especially during the additional footage in where the designer was showing some of the costumes made for MJ, I was saying to myself "that outfit looks too heavy, how is he going to be able to dance?" As for this doctor, I really don't know what to say about him. I don't care if MJ was a fiend (I don't believe he was btw), you don't administer a general anesthetic just to get some sleep. i know that, and you know that, but you'll never convince some (like the couple of posters above) of that. whether mj was an addict is irrelevant. in fact, it makes the doctor's situation even worse. unlike a drug dealer, murray took an oath to do no harm. therefore, he had a much higher obligation NOT to endanger mj's life, by giving him the drug or leaving him unattended. there is no evidence that mj was addicted to propofol, which is what the coroner says killed him. he may have been addicted to other drugs; but it's still irrelevant here. mj died from an drug that was being administered to prepare his body for the other drugs - the real drugs he wanted - to put him to sleep. murray not only gave him the propofol, he then apparently left him alone, knowing that the nature of propofol is unpredictable, and when he discovered him not breathing, he apparently did not call the emts right away, kept valuable information from them, etc. that's why this is manslaughter. as i said before, if i'm driving down the street recklessly, and i hit a drunk pedestrian, it doesn't matter if he was drunk of his ass and stumbling down the street. i killed him, end of.

It's been officially ruled as a homicide. Some people including myself believe it was probably a murder. I guess you already knows this. You're saying you feel that in your guts?

You think this was euthanasia? no, this poster has previously posted that mj was an addict, therefore the doctor was only doing what the addict told him to do, so he doesn't deserve to go to jail. it's mj's fault he's dead.

Wait, I'm hearing two different things. That he was an addict, asked for the stuff and he overdose, or he was suicidal but he couldn't do it himself. It can't be both. [Edited 2/2/10 19:40pm]

No question this doctor is guilty of malpractice and involuntary manslaughter.
MJ is typical of most drug addicts and was going to kill himself with or without a doctor with or without an accomplice. Some of you need to get a grip and put your fervor to good use and use MJ as an example of drug abuse of how the life of a typical drug addict end. If there is a villain it is the drug abuse..
