Cool or sad?

What do you think?

One of my friends has 6 Prince tattoos. One day I stared at her and said, "Prince doesn't have that symbol permanent on his OWN body."

I think if that's what someone wants to do...
But personally, I wouldn't put someone else's name or symbol on my skin.

I think it depends what you get done. If it's too large and garish then it can look tacky.

I've often thought about getting a tattooed somewhere on me. Not seriously, but I've considered it. But then inevitably Prince will do something out-of-this-world douchey every 6 months or so and I'll wipe the sweat off my brow and say "whew! thank God. what was I thinking?"

Well maybe

I have three artist related tattoos. I have the Prince symbol on my left arm.. A Tupac tribute of sorts on my right arm, and on my right forearm I have a Frank Sinatra piece. Its a vintage microphone with a Frank style Fedora on top of it. The lyrics to That's Life surround it.

Music is just a huge influence to who I am, so for me it makes total sense to add them to my ink collection. Besides, I love having to explain why I have Tupac, Sinatra and Prince on my arms

I wouldn't do it personally, but then musicians are generally bigger influences on our lives than dragons, barbed wire, or Chinese letters, so who am I to judge?
