Thanx for posting this. Wish I coulda seen em live with Burnett on bass (I missed their show in Portland '84).

This brought back memories of how they used to take the stage....very high energy & yet slick....like a calculated bomb drop.

Also, the band Larry mentions at the end was UNHOLY. "LA Connection" had only one album (they were assorted former members of Cameo's "Mantra"...featuring Roger Harris on lead vox). One of my fave funk albums EVER.

I love those two songs headbang 'Alligator Woman' is my favorite Cameo album.With those two songs on it,plus the excellent title track,that album is SMOKIN'!
