And she's still got her voice. She sounded good. Did you notice she held her mic at a distance and still sounded clear?
Well she might have had to hold it far to keep from getting feedback off that wig.

Well I just finished watching, and even though Taylor Swift was honestly overjoyed, and surprised at her win,I really think Lady Gaga should have won album of the year.

The tribute to Michael was beautiful, and Prince's speech brought me to tears. Michael would be so proud of them. nod sigh sad

1. Did anyone else think that Jamie Foxx's sister was Gabby (Precious) when she came out?

2. Am I the only one that wanted to scream "bitch, hold my ponytail!" when was flipping her ponytail from left to right?

Yeah, I don't think the camera showed her at all, and she didn't come in on the red carpet with everyone else. She lost to Gaga, too.

nodspit

since there 30 something pages of everyone sucked! falloff lol
i enjoyed a bit of it. i think for the most part it was far better than previous Grammys. seems like there were more performances than awards given shown. and that would be why i enjoyed it. just get to the music.
i like that there was a lot of social & global awareness going on. and not just because of the earthquake. it all seemed geniune.

though basically the same performance from her tour, P!NK stole the show! hands down. Zac Brown Band were great. love them. i enjoyed Lady Gaga. Celine Dion , Jennifer Hudson, and Carrie Underwood were awesome. i'm glad no one tried to out sing one another.
Andrea Bocelli & Mary J. Blige: nice. though i have to admit was afraid Mary was going to pull her usual seizure type of performance.
I wanted to like Jamie Foxx's performance, but it did nothing for me. and yes, i thought it was "Precious" too. lol
Maxwell and Roberta Flack clean classic and well paired. very nice.
i thought or maybe hoped that Rascall Flatts were performing. pout
Rihanna looked beautiful.
Placido Domingo excited ok he just presented, but still. it's Placido 'fucking' Domingo!!!
i like one or two Taylor Swift songs. but never been a fan of her live. and she appears to be a very nice humble girl following her dream. so good for her.
love Green Day, but not their performance. would've preferred just them rocking out. the musical just didn't work for me.
Lady Antebellum were good but i've heard them do better.
it's unfortunate that there's always a lack of (or rather non existent) classical and jazz performances. neutral
Bon Jovi & Jennifer Nettles sounded good together.

i didn't think it was a bad show. not the greatest one, but not as bad as some are making it out to be. lol

hammer who am i forgetting edit.

Wow, seems the audience loved Pink's performance. I guess she outdid Lady Gaga. Kind of seem like a Pink vs Gaga thing. Whatever happened to just singing on stage without being dumped in a box of fire or swinging around in the air like a trapeze performer? Between Gaga's costume and Pink swinging around in the air, I feel like I just watched a pre-show of the Ringling Barnum and Bailey Circus.

To be honest GaGa with Elton was cool - she has some talent.

it was good to see Stevie Nicks. I think Maxwell should really do something with his voice. his performance in Oprhah show wasn't vocally good either. on albums he's much-much better as we know

MJ tribute was ok, but there were too many people there

See...this is why mediocre talent is celebrated! I don't mean you personally bboy87, I'm just using this to illustrate my point.

I wouldn't have cared if Roberta Flack showed up in a nap sac with a lamp shade on her head. That woman has more talent and singing capability than everybody who won an award last night with the only exceptions probably being Michael Jackson and Mary J. Blidge!

I've read not one comment about her performance and how amazing her VOICE STILL sounds after all these years. All I've seen are jokes about her wig and irrelevant stuff about her clothes and makeup. The greedy record industry execs aren't killing music all by themselves, they've got plenty of accomplices!
