And Grease 2 Was totally in love with the twins. "Blue Suede Shoes" is in Grease? I wonder if Adisa meant "Blue Moon" by Sha Na Na?

I hate 'Grease 2'.That movie was horrible Sometimes, when a movie is really spectacualr,a sequel isn't needed. This was certainly the case with 'Grease'.

I REFUSE to watch Grease 2. I love Michelle Pfeiffer, but not trying to entertain that mess. "Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!

When that part in Grease came on again today and I thought about my screw up on this thread. Anyway, I know a lot of people didn't like Grease 2 because it wasn't as edgy and raunchy as the first one. Isn't there supposed to be a new remake of Grease coming out of Hollywood? I hope not but it wouldn't surprise me. I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

Earlier this decade, there was talk about a remake of 'Grease' starring Britney Spears and N'Sync I'm glad that they didn't follow through with that.Presumably,Justin Timberlake would have played the Danny Zuko role.
There was also talk about a new 'Grease' movie that would bring back the original cast as they attend their high school reunion.Olivia Newton-John confirmed this rumor, saying that she would only do it if John Travolta participated too.

I could barely get through that film The songs are dumb and it's not nearly as charming as the first film.

The reunion idea was cool in theory, but what year would it have been? 70s? 80s? No doubt Grease 2 was corny, but tha's why I love it. The bowling alley scene, "Cool Rider" "Girl for All Seasons"-- like UTCM its so bad its good. Amazingly, some people criticized Sandy's "transformation",saying that it sends the wrong message... dress like a prostitute and you'll find true love I never understood that criticism. I get it but they are overlooking the part where he's like "Sandy??? "

From what I heard, the high school reunion sequel would take place in 1979...20 years later. We would get to see what happened with Danny and Sandy (Did they marry? Have children? Stayed together thru college, then broke up and married other people?).Like you say,it sounds interesting in theory but I just wonder how they could build an entire 2-hour movie around this idea Would the entire film take place at the reunion?

The one song that I like from Grease 2 is the final song,I forgot the name of it,but it's something about "turning back the hands of time".That part was nice. It's a shame that they wait until the end of the movie to do a great song, lol.

I liked how they gave it a twist and had the lead male (dang I forgot his name ) playing the undercover bad ass biker against his natural good boy self. Like, he was almost a superhero for Stephanie. Amazingly, some people criticized Sandy's "transformation",saying that it sends the wrong message... dress like a prostitute and you'll find true love I never understood that criticism. it's not that so much as it's the message that to get a man to fall in love you have to completely change who you are to fit his likes. but it is a very dumb movie, not a lesson in life. But Danny already loved Sandy, that's why he took up running track. They both did these things for each other, but it wasn't really necessary. It's just that when they saw that the other had taken the steps for them, they knew that the other was committed. My Legacy

You couldn't escape it,that song was everywhere. It also seemed that several singles were released at the same time.In the late spring of 1978 (several weeks before the movie came out),I was hearing "You're The One That I Want","Summer Nights" and the title track on the radio.
