led zepplin fool in the rain

i am really diggin this song i would love 4 prince 2 redo it and have shelia e on percussions michael bland on drums tell me what yall think of the song?

I love the Zep!

I'm not that big a fan of this song per se (I feel they peaked with Physical Graffiti) but I can definitely see what you're saying regarding a paisley redo and percussion jam session! I'd probably like the song more if that did happen! nod

I really like this song. Although I prefer In The Evening, South Bound Saurez, and Carouselambra off of "In Through The Out Door."

I admire this song more than i actually like it. I love the arrangement and the way it changes into some crazy samba halfway through(complete with guitar solo!) and then just falls effortlessly back into the original tempo. I've never really thought about it but this Prince could really work this track with Sheila on percussion.

Nice to see someone showing some love for South Bound Saurez. I've always loved that song. That one also has a really off kilter beat too.

You can actually hear Plant's voice dying during parts of that album.
