Midnight Special crowds are so weak. There's a clip of JB on their, and the crowd is just "there." I've seen more excitement at a funeral.

The deadest audience I've ever seen was when Rick James performed "Super Freak" on "Saturday Night Live". They just sat there, no screaming, no expression, not even so much as a head bob. lol

Most early SNL performances had DEAD audiences. No matter how the song rocked.
