Vocal-wise really if you think about it. Look-wise they were trying to be like Poison/Warrant lol

My metalhead roommate in college had Vixen's first album and I used to listen to it when he wasn't around. I found them much easier to digest then the usual Yngwie J. Malmsteen or Y&T that he'd normally play.

Go Cinnie giving props to Vixen! This is why I love the org!!

In general I hope hair metal bands like Warrant, Cinderella, Faster Pussycat, Guns N' Roses, etc but not so much Vixen. This song was ok though.

I ignored (or tried to forget) about "hair" metal for two decades, but now I'm on a rock kick here in 2010! headbang guitar

Wrong! Vixen was like The Bangles meets Poison.

You mean Def White Ratt Poison Row?!?
lol

For those of you too young to remember pop-metal bands, I was applying that Def Lepperd, White Snake, Ratt, Poison, AND Skid Row sometimes look the same.

Anyway. Hot song. Good memories. They didn't have that "Minneapolis sound," but they were from St. Paul. razz
