Rick did write and produce it. I agree with you, that is a special number from a from a phenomenal record. And there is enough to go around for everyone with that song - "Temptations Sing!" | |

I got to shake my ass live to "Hard to get" at the concert for this tour! Rick James with Cameo and One Way in Oakland!!!! [Edited 1/26/10 7:31am] I saw that tour to. U bringing back memories. That song was a sequel to "Super Freak"...I miss that Rick James  will ALWAYS think of  like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. |

Actually the first concert I tried to go to was Prince with The Time on the Controversy tour in early 1982 at the Civic Auditorium in SF but me and my friends were too young to drive to get there. I went to that show with Prince and The Time but in LA. My mother drove me and my friend there..... will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! Unfortunately,I didn't go to any concerts in the early 80s.My first concert was in 1986.I remember my sister and her friend went to see The Gap Band and Yarbrough and Peoples at the Circle Star Theatre in early 1983.Did you go to that show? Remember the Circle Star Theatre? Yes I remember the Circle Star Theatre but I never made it to any concerts there. I did not catch the Gap Band with Yarbrough and Peoples in early 1983 but I did catch the Gap Band at the Oakland Arena in late 1983 with Jeffrey Osborne and Atlantic Starr. In fact I got to meet the Gap Band at that show. I went to High School (Hayward High) with one of their neices Michelle and she got us backstage! Back in those days,they really put together some excellent line-ups! Rick James,Cameo and One Way?? That's an AMAZING show right there! | |
