Mariah still needs to get intimate with these shows. The venue choices are too large, i mean MSG, come on already, but interesting that she got the close of the decade new years eve show there, so my guess is that show is gonna be priced in the 100-500 range, that was the Rate for Billy Joel's millenium shows there, in fact i think some were a thousand, i was at that and the seats were 250 up a level.

But she needs an intimate tour, shut down this whole big venue thing, unless you are Bon Jovi or Springsteen or U2 there is no reason for it. Though some of the Venues are smaller, some are too big for her type of shows.

To me if i go see MC in concert im going for this.....

I cant see that in a arena or sports venue sitting one level up which makes the outfit pointless to have.

I suspect the time to see her live has passed. I should've seen her 15 years ago, 10 tops.

One can hope. Otherwise it could get real ugly.

i hope Honey, Heartbreaker, Fantasy, It's Like That & Shake It Off are all out this time around, or worked into a medley.

she makes her catalog seem totally lackluster by sticking to the hits only.

I wouldn't mind going to see her. I"m in Detroit and they announced on the news this morning that tickets start at $60! eek I'm sorry, as much as I love me some Mimi, she's a lousy live singer and I just don't see paying that much money to go see her with her voice in the condition that it's in.

pretty much. i've never seen her live, except on dvds. mainly because she's cancelled or not toured near me. apart from that, i don't know anyone who's seen her live and the things i've read have not been favourable. a friend gave me her last tour on dvd, and i wasn't too moved by it. lol. and if the cheapest is 60, unless someone buys me a ticket or i can win one, i definitely won't be going to see her.

i do like her lasted album quite a bit though. so, IF i go i wouldn't mind hearing most of that album,"Betcha Gon Know", "Candy Bling", "Obsessed", "Standing O"... and few older hits. but the songs i'd really love to hear her do will more than likely never be performed.
i.e. "Slipping Away", "For The Record", "Long Ago", "The Roof", "Clown"..

shrug we'll see.

I wish I could find out what the set list is going to look like on this tour. I'd love to hear her perform "Everything Fades", "The Wind" and "Do You Think Of Me", but I know it ain't ever gonna happen. confused mad

She has to get the money somehow. Everyone is touring these days, that's the only proper income left for artists. Though I'm not sure how much can Mariah earn from theatres and low ticket prices.
