Saw Dam-Funk live last night Do check his show if you get the chance! 
He started his set spinning some face-scrunching `82 era funk records (original vinyl, folks), then segued into his own music. The moment that it switched wasn't as easy to determine as one might think, because of his authentic production approach. 
Dam-Funk sings a little bit on his album, but he was full-on  reppin' it live soulfully over some of his best instrumentals (e.g. "Hood Pass Intact").  I was reaaaaally feeling it.
He even played some brand new schitt  
He also went back into some original funk boogie records that I am pretty sure no one there had heard, mixed with some faves  .

Would love to see him one day, I really dig his music, especially since I grew up listening to that type of music.Too bad there´s not more of him on YouTube. I wish he could get more exposure..he's a hidden gem to me..I heard him years ago and hear him now...he stepped up his funk game big time..I would love to see him live tho.... | |

I can't believe you aren't already bumping the whole album! The second video sounds OK. It sounds kinda like Paul Hardcastle meets Prince. Andy is a four letter word. | |
