Batdance...

I was planning on listening to 'Bad Romance' but my MP4 player crashed and so, 11 hours later I put my computer onto shuffle and Batdance came up.

I just woke up, opened my zune software and started shuffle play. The first song I'm listening to is Minnie Riperton's "Memory Lane".

I'm listening to some vintage synth demos. Right now, I'm listening to some Elka Synthex patches.

I downloaded a SPC archive, so been listening to some SNES chiptunes

Tattva: The Best of Kula Shaka. Had it for ages but never listened to it properly, giving it a go today.

I got in the car to go to a hungover breakfast with my buddy this morning and the first song that came on the radio was that Nelly & Tim McGraw song from 5 years ago. I said, "THIS WILL NOT be the song that kicks off 2010 for me." So I immediately turned it down and got out the iPod and put on "New Year's Day" by U2 just because it was the only appropriate thing I could think of.

Other than that, I just finished the new Bowie biography by Marc Spitz. So I'm listening to lots and lots of Bowie.

got a great interview from the BBC on the 31st with a-ha, discussing the career,25 years, and this years final tour, i figured i had to close it out with my best artist of the decade and start the new year with them too since the tour will be going all year everywhere. Plus a circulating 38 song compilation of a-ha that is coming out of japan i believe, that is amazingly put together, though not official, everything is mastered and remastered excellent.
