"The Real Deal on Throwing Muses

Now it's "official" -- there WILL be another Throwing Muses record!

It's been delivered to 4AD and is due out February 2003.

Personnel includes Kristin (Hersh), David and Bernard with Tanya (Donelly ) doing backing vocals on several songs. The recordings rock. Hard. The few people who have heard what was done have all commented on the speed, intensity and rawness of the songs -- 12 tracks in all.

Warning: At this time, it appears as if there will NOT be a full tour for this record due to the limited available time of the individuals. It is expected however that there will be some dates in the UK/Europe and the US...We're projecting something on the order of 6 dates total on this project. But remember the record isn't finished yet, it won't be out until next year and many things can change -- either way.

But to reiterate, there will be another Throwing Muses record...and how!

As the record draws nearer to completion we'll be sure to update you all.

note : if you like indie rock à la Pixies , The Throwing Muses are a great underrated band, their best albums are imo The Real Ramona (1991) and University (1996 I think)

I have ALL Throwing Muses albums...they even have a track called "Teller."
