IF you like ELO's "OUT OF THE BLUE" album... Mr. Blue Sky, Turn To Stone, etc... Try THIS! You will LOVE this video re-make.....
this song is absolutely FANTASTIC.... Direct LINK: http://www.youtube.com/wa...O94Wbz-A3k - the song is from the 2001 ELO album "Zoom", but has been remixed, Now it sounds very 1977-ish!! Like it's from "OUT OF THE BLUE" album.. I wonder if Jeff Lynne is responcible for this brilliant re-make??? Oh dear, I love this song. Sounds great. I love the strings in it. It definately sounds like it belongs on Out Of The Blue now.

Electric Light Orchestra is one of my favorite all time bands. In fact, today I had the the "Concerto For A Rainy Day" section of Out Of The Blue playing in the car around town. One of Jeff Lynne's most prolific periods. The guy kept writing and writing and Out Of The Blue was a result of that. He's been remastering a lot of those older albums with new artwork, liner notes, and bonus tracks.

I wonder Ernest, what you think of the "Ordinary Dream" video/song then..

I deeply love ELO too, their albums 1975 to 1981 are classics imo: Face The Music (1975) Evil Woman Strange Magic Nightrider A New World Record (1976) Livin' Thing Rockaria! Telephone Line Do Ya Out Of The Blue (1977) Mr. Blue Sky Turn To Stone Sweet Talkin' Woman Wild West Hero Discovery (1979) Don't Bring Me Down Shine A Little Love Confusion Last Train To London Time (1981) Hold On Tight Twilight The Way Life's Meant To Be Ticket To The Moon Those are classic albums.... --- [Edited 1/24/10 4:17am] Prince 4Ever.

Hold On Tight Twilight The Way Life's Meant To Be Ticket To The Moon I've not listened to the song yet. Time is the album that really got me into ELO, and it's ironic because being an orchestra homo at the time for years in school, Time had very little strings on it. I sort of knew older songs, but that album got me hooked. Out Of the Blue is classic. It was a prolific period for Lynne. He said "I just couldn't stop writing". Stuff like the "Concerto For A Rainy Day" four-song stretch on side of the album is full on proof of that. I still have that LP. It came with a space ship and tower, that you punched out of perforated card stock, and folded it into shape.

Time is the album that really got me into ELO... you should take a listen now! Ordinary Dream Re-make: Direct LINK: http://www.youtube.com/wa...O94Wbz-A3k just wow... "Out Of The Blue" was my first ELO album, I got a tape recording of this - and later I bought it on vinyl, and A New World Record... and their greatest hits album followed... now I own them all on CD...
