All of their albums have a distinct sound and are very cohesive - something that I like them for. I really don't see how all songs sound the same, but if we insist, you could say the same thing about Mozart or Chopin. Then again maybe its just me. But within each album, each song bleeds into another--it sometimes feels like they only write 2 or 3 songs and repeat each 2 or 3 times. Then call that an album. It's sort of like what the boys from Chicago (Peter Cetera & crew) did with their albums in the 80s. ] Each album does explore different moods. But within each album, theres a great deal of repetition. It's almost like listening to a lounge act that takes itself seriously.  | |
