I bet he feels bad. I bet he's going to go anyway. I bet he will garner some more negative attention. I bet he will say America hates Haiti or some other stupid shit. wait...did he say that already?

Sad, but he has acted an ass w/ some of his public outbursts
Kanye did not act an ass, what's wrong with telling the truth - he act's in good faith the problem is the media don't like to be told what to think by a "rapper" they just expect him to be counting his money like 50 Cent not get the youth to think ! Obama comments about him was off air and off the record.....guess what the media did ...yep ...made it public ...he did not even see the show..... Kanye is keeping Rap/Hip-hop alive .... Jay-Z is just cashing cheques his heart was out of the game years ago ..... same with 50 Cent he's just in it for the money no love...the rapper version of Britney Spears... Reading is fundamental Notice I said "some" of his antics, like the Taylor Swift thing which was completely assey. If you agree w/ everything he's ever done in the public eye, you got problems

i was talking over the phone about this yesterday, When Kanye was speaking the truth about George W. Racist, you don't think the gov. was taking notice? I wouldn't be surprised if the FBI was keeping tabs on Kanye since then. Yeah sometimes Kanye acts childish but guess what he's one of the few speaking out. Sometimes his timing is off but at least he makes time.

I just heard some old Kanye the other day.....Through The Fire and Jesus Walks....good stuff! I don't deny his talents at all. But he has a lot of inner personal demons he needs to address, and he also needs to not suck a full bottle of Henny before going out in public

"Yes, lets keep him from helping the Hatians with us. That'll teach him to never interrupt a white girl ever again"
When punishing someone for having a lack of social grace is more important than helping people in dire need of it, something is very f*cked up about you and your society in general. And Americans (who aren't in denial) wonder why the rest of the world seems to hate us? [Edited 1/22/10 10:39am]

[/b] [Edited 1/22/10 10:39am] I figured that BOTH countries (USA & Haiti) didn't want to risk Kanye making any political statements that would make a few political leaders look bad (especially if he speaks the ugly truth). Remember, the last time TPTB note a rap artist that couldn't be control, that rap artist (2pac) was killed. Just saying.

I don't like Kayne's music, but I think it's ridiculous if he's blackballed from the music industry.
There are so many celebrities who have done far worse including committing violent crimes and they are invited to keep on performing. He was out of line with the Taylor Swift but it wasn't the major thing everyone made it out to be. And he did apologize. Taylor Swift was very famous and successful long before the Kayne incident. If she wasn't she wouldn't have been nominated for the award in the first place. I'm surprised to hear someone say they hadn't heard of her before the Kayne thing.

That's what I was thinking too. You know damn well Kanye will say whatever he wants if he has a live mic.. and if he doesn't have a live mic, he will steal a young white country star's mic. [Edited 1/22/10 12:37pm]
