Kenny G and Kashif "love on the rise" Haters gotta hate but I know deep down some people on here like this song LOL. The album "Gravity" was probably Kenny's last album before he started to crossover to pop/MOR.

Tis true. I got to see him live here in Portland (with Jeff Lorber) when he in...or just out of high school. There WAS a time before he became totally rancid jazz-cheese. Haters should check him on the "Jeff Lorber Fusion" albums. Talented player, just ultimately chose to use his gift for evil rather than good Funk Is It's Own Reward

Not much of it, but a few tracks here and there. Anyway yeah i knew about him and Jeff Lorber. I own his "Galaxian" album on CD. I also own some of Jeff's other 80's work aswell. He also went somewhat MOR and safe (at least, his "West side story" album seemed rather bland to me compared to his other work), but he also did alot of session and production work aswell in the 80's. I still really dig his "step by step" album, but not "private parts" as much.

and Kenny should get credit....even during his "sellout" period....he kept really sick funk players in his touring band (Vail Johnson, Bruce Carter, et. al). Funk Is It's Own Reward

Really? I didn't know that. I stopped after "breathless". Its totally easy listening but I love a few of the tracks. I own "the champions theme" he did for the 1996 olympics CD aswell which was also nice. But I probably wouldn't pick up any more of his later stuff though LOL.

Gorgeous track this. The mid 80's synth (synclavier, I cant usually tell?) bubbling away underneath Kenny's smooth playing. Written by Kenny and Randy Jackson (no bass by him on the track though?). Produced by Kenny and Kashif. Kenny has rarely sounded as heartfelt as this I feel.
