so my love for FM has only been increasing lately. I've always been a fan, they've made some of the greatest pop/rock albums in history, but lately i've been really appreciating them even more.

I've started listening to some of the pre Stevie/Lindsay albums like Bare Trees and Mystery To Me and there is some amazing stuff I'd never heard before.

Any Fleetwood Mac fans here?? favorite albums, songs?

I'm a huge fan of Fleetwwod Mac.Their self-titled 1975 album is my favorite...I like it even more than 'Rumours'.

Funny thing is back in the day,,,age alert:),,,I didn't care for them so much.
My sister loved them though. But now after careful consideration, I realize I like them alot.I love Lindsey Buckingham. Tusk and Rumours are faves.
Also have you heard their last studio album Say You Will? Keep in mind no Christine so that element is missing but other than that it's a great album.Imo.
Kinda dark and heavy for FM. But an overlooked great album.

I think Say You Will has some very solid tunes, but Christine's absence is definitely felt. It doesn't really sound like a Fleetwood Mac album to me... more like a Lindsay solo album and a Stevie solo album blended together on one disc.

That said, I still enjoy it... was alot to absorb when it first came out because its so long, but i like it better now.

Oh, how I love the Mac! I always liked them, but something happened two years ago where I just fell even more deeply in love with them. I was watching video clips and listening to everything. I love the Stevie/Lindsay stuff the best. I even listen to some Buckingham Nicks stuff. Actually, my brother, who is nine years older than me actually got me into them a long time ago with one of their greatest hits albums, but a couple years I go I really went all in.

Fleetwood Mac are an amazingly talented group of musicians. I've been a fan for 30 years. All members have brought something to this group. Awesome.

Fleetwood Mac is one of my favorite bands of all time. I adore Stevie Nicks, and Lindsey is still freaking hot (and an incredibly talented and vastly underrated guitarist). I like Christine McVie just fine, but I don't miss her. I'd certainly welcome her back on a tour, but I don't think Say You Will suffered from her absence. (Say You Will took a little bit to grow on me, but once it did, I really began to see its brilliance.)

Love this song by them..

Mick Fleetwood is a badd ass drummer and I started listenin 2 Fleetwood because of his fills on "Dreams"....



And I like Stevie and Lindsey's solo work too...

But Mystery to Me is a great record in its own right, has a very nice vibe to it. And there are good things on all the other records, as well.

FM is one of my favorite bands.



I'll compile a list of favs later, but let me say that TUSK is one of my all-time favorite songs ever.

I discovered them in the late 80's with the release of the songs Big Love, Everywhere, Little Lies, and Seven Wonders. I saw them last year and I had a really good time, and fell in love with the songs Storms and Silver Springs.

Buckingham/ Nicks era - I love Rhiannon, The Chain - and Buckingham's solo version of Big Love from the reunion era onwards is simply stunning. A masterpiece.

My favourite pre-B/N song of theirs is Need Your Love So Bad.


Coincidentally, I found out today that Christine McVie (or Christine Perfect, as she was then) grew up in the very town in which I live.
