Anyway back to Michael, dude and Kenny G competed for the most corniest "soul brothas" in the 1980s. I think they tied up. Hearing Michael's voice and Kenny's sax as a child in my brother's and cousins' stereos was grating to my four, five, six, seven-year-old ears.

And it had NOTHING to do with them being white. They were just corny. I say the same thing about some black singers back then like Lionel Richie, Freddie Jackson or Luther (in later years).
