Man, I was JUST listening to the 10:00 or 11:00 minute version of "Don't Leave Me This Way" REPEATEDLY (is there another way to listen to this track???) over the holidays. Pure, unadulterated genius.

I'm gonna go break out a bottle of "cold cold wine" and drink a toast to you my man! Your music got me through some rough times. The world is an INFINITELY better place because you lived in it.

I should like to add how much I much I really, really dug "Believe in Love" which came out in 1994 and was a big hit out here in Los Angeles. I have put that song on many a mix tape I've made for people over the years.

R.I.P. to Mr. Teddy Pendergrass. My Mom used to keep his Life Is A Song & Teddy albums playing constantly in late 70's.

I didn't know he'd been sick for the past year, so his passing came as a surprise. Even though he hadn't been in his prime for such a long time, it still hurts. At least we have his amazing musical legacy to remember him by. He was one of the greatest R&B singers ever.
