Is this retro yet?

I've been playing this song a lot lately. My neighbor has two different 90's compilation CDs, and this is on one of them. I already had the song, but the 90's CDs were good comps.

I still like this song. About the last time I followed Teddy aswell. I didn't like mid 90's-late 90's rnb at all. It all sounded so flat and muffled. Like someone had deliberately left the dolby on. Underwater sounding LOL. I know it was deliberate, but I hated it. Anyway, "No diggity" did not suffer from the era's production characteristics or whatever, which is probably why it does not sound dated either. Not that I care mind.

Always liked this joint, maybe because of the Bill Withers sample.
