My dad used to play this often, when I was a child. I recently got it on CD. Love this track and the title cut!! Ndeed! I grew up on it, too! Love those 2 cuts, as well as their version of Aretha's "I'm In Love"! It's Kool that the CD version has alternate takes, too! ... I'm trying to remember that version of 'For The Love Of You', but I definitely remember uptempo stuff like this : ...
