Usher: $1 million break in? Sounds fishy 2 me:
Singer Usher hit for $1 million plus in Lenox Road car break-in R&B superstar Usher Raymond IV lost more than $1 million in jewelry, clothing and other items when someone broke into his SUV a few days before Christmas. Year in Review: Atlanta in 2009 .Atlanta police spokesman Eric Schwartz told the AJC on Tuesday that police have made no arrests in the Dec. 14 heist outside the AT&T store at 3431 Lenox Road, across from Lenox Square mall. http://www.accessatlanta....id=thbz_hm

Maybe it was Tameka's jewelry and he left it in the car on purpose for it to get stolen. [Edited 1/12/10 10:40am] I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

What person leaves a $1 million worth of anything in an unattended car?

Sounds bogus to me, like a story planted for publicity. No one cares about Usher anymore. Second thought, where was Tameka when this went down? "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

That's the first thing that came in my mind, but if it's true, I'm sure that he's insured

Yeah, the whole thing sounds suspect "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

Why do people leave valuable shit in their cars?! "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

So bogus stories can be made up about a break in "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

I believe his dumb ass left all of this expensive jewelry in his ride. People just do dumb shit from time to time. A lottery winner from the midwest somewhere once left 200K in cash in his ride while parked outside a strip joint. His car and cash got jacked.

Question 4 all: How do you get back and forth from the airport? Do you parachute from the plane? Are you teleported directly into your house? Most people take a vehicle. Most people don't assume a quick stop in a store will result in a car burglarizing. Its a silly mistake that any one of us could have made. Its a big deal to most of us because we don't have millions upon millions in the bank like Usher does. To him, its probably just some jewelry (insured, as I stated), some clothes and a Louis bag. That's one trip down Rodeo Drive. To most people that's an "omg" moment because of the value of the stuff. Its really nothing to get excited over. I guess nobody on here has ever had anything stolen?
Its not that serious. [Edited 1/13/10 14:14pm]

Its not that serious. [Edited 1/13/10 14:14pm] It's not serious but it is still stupid and for the following reasons: 1. You don't ride around with millions worth of jewelry regardless of whether you're going to the airport, the store or the taco bell. That amount of valuable jewelry can be shipped/transfered to a location through more secure means e.g. third party delivery or even armored vehicle with other valuable items from other persons. Otherwise, leave that shit at home in the safe where it ought to be. 2. A celebrity of his stature should have a personal drive to take him to the airport. What if he had been jacked or assaulted? Fuck the jewelry when your life is the most valuable thing in the car. 3. Hasn't Usher been robbed/had car stolen before? Whatever happened to lessons learned? 4. As for the airport, again some people regardless of celeb status have a shuttle or other driver pick them up. Hell take the damn taxi, errbody knows taxi drivers aint got shit worth stealing. tada!

He was with his bodyguard. I didn't say it wasn't a mistake; I'm saying anybody could have made it. Most of us don't even have a million dollars worth of jewelry, so I think focusing on the value is less important than if you think of it in the context of what a normal person would have when coming from the airport. His mistake was leaving the bag with his jewelry in the car, but he probably assumed that it would be a quick trip in the store. Now if his jewelry isn't insured, then he's stupid. If it is; no big problem, right?

Yeah really even if I lost something, I should be deserved to be called a dummy lol Believe me I did that as a kid so it ain't like celebrities should be above it, keep your possessions safe.
