I think once you have dipped in Kim Kardashian and the crazy bitch who started this dumb rumor, your girlfriend finding moments are limited to hoes, trannies, and Whitney Houston. PS we are all African and bisexual. Deal with it!

If black women were in general homophobic then none would be HIV positive. The problem IMO is that black women are too damn trusting of men when they should be paying close attention to those "rumors" and should be demanding the man get tested or at least wear a condom. Also, I don't think it really is all that hard for a black man to get a girlfriend. In fact, it's damned easy because they can get women from all walks of life for the very false rumor about them all having big dicks. The importance of practicing sex safe is valid. But you know what I also think you're saying (IMO)? TRANSLATION: You're "convince" that the gay rumor about Ray J is true (in your opinion) despite that he said public that he is straight and therefore (especially if he really is tell the truth) you will NOT feel sorry for him if he can no longer get a new girlfriend/wife Or maintain a fanbase because of that very false gay rumor. . . . Some of us were never this heartless toward the late Teddy Pendergrass and he used to be a tranny-hunter! Just say. u seriuos? ok, first off...RayJ aint my type in this life or the next so I could care less if he's homo or hetero. I don't care for his music either. I've never heard the rumor about him being gay and didn't know he had to publicly denounce gay rumors until this thread so that shows you how relevant the little gremlin is to me. As for him getting a girlfriend...there will always be busted and rusted tricks ready to give up that ass and open up that mouth simply because the gremlin is a celebrity. flava flav anyone? And I won't feel sorry for him if his career/love life succumbs to the rumor or if it helps his career/love life. In short....fuck him! As for Teddy, I read a story that he picked up a tranny hooker the night he had his car accident. Now if that was a one time incident then who cares about the rumors. If this was truly his M.O. then did his career suffer for it? Did he not get girlfriends, get married or have kids? No. In fact he got married twice after the accident and had several out of wedlock children before. Apparently it's not rumors that ruin careers....it's facts. Remains to be seen what the fact is with Ray J.

Somebody that actually does have love for gay people and is comfortable with their sexuality doesn't have to make a public statement to say they are straight. That's like being offended that someone would mistake them for being gay so that doesn't sound like "having love for gay people to me". I could care less if people mistake me for straight.....although it's not likely that someone would. Hmmm... Yes and no. Think of his context for a sec, not yours. Making the statement is an acknowledgement that the rumor mill is what it is. You know that in hypermasculine "shit hop" circles (emphasis yours, lol), to make such a seemingly casual statement and even (gasp) suggesting that homosexuality being cool can be twisted into more fuel for the rumors. He's not saying "HELL NO, I ain't no f-ing fa***!!! like many do. And that's yet another thing that makes that genre the stupidest, most ignorant genre that ever existed. It's one thing to be dull as hell, Lord knows classical music is dull as hell (at least classical musicians actually have talent though), but to be dull as hell and openly arrogantly homophobic is just downright scum of the earth gutter trash which is one of the reasons why I have absolutely no mercy whatsoever on the genre. I've seen rednecks that weren't as homophobic as shit hoppers and you got to be gutter trash to be beneath rednecks....but then again, ignorant people immitate their enemies. Would it be better if he could just brush it off and not make that statement? Absolutely, but be realistic. Name the most successful out black male r&b singer. . . Rahsaan Patterson is infinitely more talented and is not the household name he should be, and discrimination plays a role in that IMO.
Yes, it would. For a genre in which the men think they are so strong, in reality, they are the weakest little bitches on the face of the earth. A truly strong person gives the finger to the world and doesn't give a damn what they think. A weak little bitch is scared that society may label them as something that they think is a bad thing. I'm not black and for years, society saw black as the worst thing you could be. But I didn't put up with nobody talking shit about black folks then or now. And I have been mistaken for black sometimes and I wasn't offended, I was flattered. When you honestly and truly don't have a problem with a group of people, you could care less even if those in your own group don't accept you because of it. That's the way a truly strong minded person is. A weak minded person tells society what it wants to hear because they don't have the strength or guts to face the possible discrimination even when they aren't a part of the hated group. If a large group of people have a problem with black people, hispanic people, asian people, and yes, even gay people, the group that has a problem with them is trash. So, why would anyone give a damn what trash thinks of them? You've got to put your nose in the air and realize that you are the one that is above trash and that trash is beneath you. Bottom line, if I'm straight and I say I am, it's not necessarily a diss to gay men, is it?
It just depends on how you look at it. I have no problem with straight people and could care less if I'm mistaken for straight so I don't see why someone that truly has nothing against gay people would be offended if someone mistook them for gay. Well, straight isn't hated by society, but gay is? That's absolutely true and that's the reason why straight people see this issue differently than gay people. That's why we still have a long way to go because until the day that being gay or even mistaken for gay is not considered a bad thing in even the slightest way, then we still are not truly equal. . . .
