I found the first disc to be a strong collection of songs, but my friend, a longtime fan (Ardavan, you met him at Beale Street), hated it as if it was some kind of sellout. But he loved the second disc, which is more of a cohesive piece of music. I also liked it, but I thought it was not necessarily better than the first one.
