Mooney is similar in this style to George Carlin, at least the last 15 years of Georges live, the thing about George is he ripped everything and didnt look behind him for complaints, this is a guy who did a 25 minute routine on Suicide and how people should do it, and then got fired a day later because of it, George never changed his ways to suit the cash register. But my fear as was with George and Paul is they are preaching on a mostly def public.

He knows the time though, so a book would be more profitable in 2010

As much as I ADORE him, I'm reluctant to buy this book because I don't want to pick up a book thinking its about Paul when its another "My life with so & so" book, and knowing about his friendship with Richard Pryor, I can expect alot of commentary about the late comedian,,,I just hope its not the bulk of this book though. Thats why I'm waiting for an objective review from one of you guys.

Paul Mooney and 100 other comics. It's written by Darryl Littleton (know as comic D'Militant.)

Besides Mooney, Dick Gregory, Eddie Murphy, Daomon Wayans, Sinbad, Arsenio, Robert Townsend, Franklyn Ajae, Joe Torry, Tom Dreesan, John Witherspoon and many more. Rudy Ray Moore and Bernie Mac also before they passed away.

I love people that tell the truth. That is why I love this man. People are always scared of people that tell the truth. I saw Paul at the post office in Hollywood recently. I did acknowledged him. He is not to be played with either.

He reminds me a lot of Prince who tells the truth also. The world is not ready for that.

I meant Prince in his earlier career the songs that he sung were honest & explicit about sex. Not many artist were doing that when he started. He pushed a lot of buttons. The way that he dressed the but out pants. His stand against record labels exploiting there artist. He was the first artist to go against his record company to get out of his contract. Honest & telling the truth in that way.

Don't get me to talk negative about Prince on here. I will never do that. I AM NOT A FAIRWEATHER PRINCE FAN LIKE MOST ON THIS SITE!

So Prince really had sex with his sister then, is that what you believe? eek I mean he made an explicit song about it in his earlier career so based on the criteria you just put forth, it must be true...right?

I dont always agree on what he says, but I always pay attention to a person that speaks their mind with no recourse to what someone has to say about that. I give alot of respect to a person who does. He is racist and not racist in the same time, he's accepting and not accepting. There is no win or lose with this man. You either love him or you dont, there is no middle ground..no maybe, sometimes...its just YES OR NO. clapping

Yeah, comparing Prince and Paul Mooney in the "telling it like it is" category is wishful thinking at best.

Paul has built a career on his acerbic send-ups of racial matters in America.

On the other hand, Prince has repeatedly "retired" both touring and his performance of "the hits," changed his name to a symbol to get out of his WB contract, refused to acknowledge the death of his baby in that horrible tragedy, and chalked up the dissolution of his marriage to Mayte as not wanting to be bound by CONtracts.

Prince plays a mean guitar and has a killer falsetto, even if he can't do the splits anymore. But, let's be real.
