It's cool even though it can be repetitive at times but it's far
better than most of the crap that pass as R&B these days like Gay Songz,J.Holliday,Ginuwine,Jeremiah;etc. Don't laugh at my funk

It's interesting that the maker of this thread quotes Mos Def in his sig.."My Umi" by Mos Def is a staple song on Neo-Soul playlist..If u only like uptempo music,I can understand..but when you're trying relax are you going to listen to uptempo music?...Neo-Soul (I hate that term) has a time and place and there's nothing wrong with that.. Give me Amel Larrieux,Goapele,India Irie,Maxwell and yes Mos Def when he's singing | |
