No. "Private Dancer" is not about hooking. Private dancers were professional dance partners in the 1930's that were hired by male patrons of clubs to dance with them on a dance by dance basis. The reason why they are called "Taxi Dancers", is because, like a taxi, they were paid on a dance by dance basis.
