I have none. I don't like divas in the least. "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

This diva (made such by the world, but not by her) can sing just about anything of any genre and can even make those who are familiar with her music ask the question, "Who is that singing?" She can sing a song in a way that makes her sound like someone else, which is often her intention becasue she sings a lot of her songs in "character". I love a singer that doesn't sound the same, vocally, from one song to the next. And that's a very rare find. [Edited 1/7/10 16:57pm]

So can Elton John. [/quote] True, but he's a lot lower on my radar. I laughed at him when he was yelling at the press once. "YOU'RE VILE, FILTHY PIGS!" hahahaha Someone get him some flowers and shut him up.

Wow! It's amazing to me how some people define the word "diva". I never would put some of these women (or men) on a "diva" list. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Define Diva. I think sometimes it has a negative connotation, but I see it otherwise most times.

Define Diva. I think sometimes it has a negative connotation, but I see it otherwise most times. I see "diva" as an adjective or pronoun that describes an entertainer that is glamorous and talented at the same time. To me, they capture the true essence of being a star. They have exceptional talent and expect the best from themselves and everyone around them. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

My response was a joke, but he is still fitting of the qualities you noted. Chaka fits the bill too.

He can sing his ass off, is glamorous (except for the odd sex stories) and is about perfection. I never would classify Kylie as a "diva". Same for Madonna. I love Madonna, but I don't think Madonna is glamorous on any level. She can "glam" up her appearance and performances, but she doesn't project glamor to me. I would classify someone like Celine Dion or Cher as a diva before I would Madonna or Kylie. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-
