I just caught wind of this album a few weeks back, and it's the featured album on allmusic today. This one's a classic tune from the Bacharach/David catalog, and their take on it is aces! From their self-titled debut album.

Ok, so can someone explain the Love thing to me. I must have played Forever Changes 20 times and keep waiting for the genius that everybody who made me buy the album hears. Sure the songs all have a lot of stuff going on, but what's exactly compelling about it?

I just don't get it.

I love the allmusic picks. I don't necessarily like them all, but it's opened me up to some good albums. Didn't listen to the Winter one...yet!

Well not everything is for everybody. I think it's brilliant simply because of the emotional effect it has on me. If you don't feel the same thing, then it may not be for you. There's something very "LA" about it, which appeals to me since I live there...you know, I;ve been between Clark and Hilldale.
