"DANGEROUS" by michael jackson; i've never liked albumcovers with posing artists. this cover has just everything: great artwork and theme, being something like mike wearing this mask representing his love for the world and children, his eccentricity, him being a thrillride and what not..

"MUCH AGAINST EVERYONES ADVISE" by soulwax; the complete inlay (cover and rest of the songbook) is beautifully illustrated with LP covers.. great artwork!

"SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND" by the beatles; like i said, i don't like artists posing for albumcovers, but this is something different! a beautiful cover for a beautiful album..

these covers came to mind when thinking about it, but there are probably a lot more i really dig. when i think of any i'll return..

WELLL ITS ABOUT FRICKIN TIME DAMN!!! this is the artist I tried to have a thread about His name is Mati Klarwien and he did a shit load of album covers for people like Miles Davis...these are acctual paintings noone owns them they are each a panel in this portable tabernacle that used to tour museums in the 70's. He was Andy Worhols favorite artist...AND the artist that enspired the guy who did THE RAINBOW CHILDREN ALBUM...if you dont think so go to the guys web site and look for your self at his other art and you will see a very striking resermblence

All of The The's 80s album covers were so great! Didn't Matt Johnson's brother, Andy, design them?
Also, I loved the little drawings next to each song's lyrics on the album jackets.
