last monday it seemed everywhere i went there was justin timberlake. in recordstores; big promotion for his solo debut. at news stands; his face was on various covers of newspapers and magazines. at school; my classmates had downloaded few of his songs and were pretty enthusiastic about what they heared. at home; as i turned on mtv there was his video for 'like i love you'.. i decided to check out what all the fuss was about.
first, i read through a couple of internet reviews, checkin' out what people thought were some of the better tunes on the album 'justified'. finally, i downloaded a couple of songs including 'like i love you' (which i was already diggin'), 'cry me a river', 'rock your body', 'still on my brain' and 'senorita'. well, ever since i heard the song 'senorita' i can't stop thinking about it; this is a mad tune people! i must give props to the neptunes for laying down some of the funkiest grooves i heard in a while. it just sounds so loose and fresh.. just thinking about it makes me wanna put it on again. later.
